How many believe that faith can make you speak?  Those who have fear will cry, will cow down and be pressed down.  But those who have faith will speak!

Romans 10:5-9 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)  But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

The one who has faith will not ask questions because they have faith in God’s Word. How does the faith language speak? The word of faith speaks with revelation from the heart.  When you are filled with God’s Word, you will speak with faith.  There is power in speaking the Word. When you are born again after you have received the Holy Spirit and have the Holy Spirit inside you, He brings a power and will execute what has been spoken with faith.

We speak from the mouth and believe in the heart that Jesus came, died, was buried, rose again, and is seated at the right hand of God.  When you believe and speak this, you are saved.  It looks simple but it is absolutely necessary to believe.  The simplest of things are the most difficult for man, for he thinks that he has to sacrifice a great deal to please God.  But that is not true. God has given us His salvation in a simple but special way.  Adam had a very special grace to speak and bring anything into existence in the Garden of Eden.  Adam lost this when he fell into sin.  Now after we have accepted the Lord Jesus we have come into the place! We have this same power to speak and bring things into existence in our life.  Whatever God the father says, Jesus says.  Whatever Jesus says, the Holy Spirit says.  Whatever the Holy Spirit says, if you say, then you are aligning with the God head.  Therefore there is power in that speaking.  This is what God wants us to understand.

We have crossed the first level when we accepted the Lord Jesus.  That is when you were delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of the Dear Son.  Transformed!  In the twinkling of an eye you have come into a different place.  It happens immediately, the moment you believe! Not after ten days, after ten months, or after ten years.

How do we continue in this walk in faith?

Proverbs 10:11 The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

Death is darkness, but Life is light.  This light comes from inside you, for you are a child of God and a child of light, so God’s light comes out from you.  God spoke and things were created. The same God’s life is inside us.  The Holy Spirit is inside us.  When we speak it is the Holy Spirit speaking from inside us.  The mouth of the righteous man is the well of life.  It never runs dry!

Proverbs 18:4 The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook.

God’s wisdom comes out of the righteous man’s mouth.  The more of the Word you have in you, then the more of God’s wisdom you will have.   We have abundance inside us through God’s Word which flows out of our mouth through the power of the Holy Spirit.

How does a man defile himself?  Jesus said that is not when you eat without washing your hands, but because of the things that come out of your mouth.

Proverbs 18:20, 21 A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.  21Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Man’s needs are satisfied with the fruit of his own mouth.  What comes out of his mouth will ultimately decide how this man is going to live on this earth.  The Increase of his lips is the Word of God.  The words of the world will bring decrease, but the spoken Word of God will bring abundance.

James 3:5, 6

Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!  6And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

Not one wants to ruin their own life.  However the devil is pushing believers to do so. God says you have power in your tongue to bring life.  But believers choose to speak death, by speaking contrary to the Word of God, because of their anger. You are destroying what God is building up!  God wants to see you blessed and prosperous but the flame which goes from your mouth is bringing hell fire!

Mark 11:22, 23

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.  23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

What is having faith in God? If you have faith to speak, then you have faith in God and His Word.  Those who have fear cannot speak.  Speak the Word without doubting and whatsoever you believe in your heart, will happen because God will bring it to pass, by bringing His power down.  Seek the Word and see the increase.  Only in the word there is increase.

Jeremiah 15:19 … if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth:..

You wonder why the power is not coming out of you!  You have been using your mouth as you wish.  You need to control your tongue.

James 3:2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

Let your mouth bring prosperity, peace and abundance in your life, not destruction.  In short, everything is in you.  Today give a commitment that you will walk like Jesus, never misuse your tongue to speak destructive words; but speak God’s Word to bring increase in your own life. AMEN

This message is on how Cornelius the 1st Gentile received the Holy Baptism and only then could he hear God’s voice.

According to John 16: 13-15, the Holy Spirit reveals what God wants us to know.

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

- The minimum requirement to hear God’s voice is Immersiion baptism and Holy Spirit Baptism.

- The different ways God speaks to man.

- How to hear – (Conducive environment to hear, holiness, peace within & around, praise life, gladness of heart, silence.

- Why and when God speaks to man.

John 10:27

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Isaiah 30:21

21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Why should we hear the voice and walk in it?

His voice will give us His guidance and His wisdom to see victory.  You will not have fear in whatever you do after you have heard his voice.  The book  of Job states that whatever you fear will come upon you.

Why does God speak>

1. To reveal the secrets of His kingdom (Daniel 2:17 & 19)

17 Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions:

19 Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

God revealed the secret to Daniel.  The Holy Spirit will reveal to a person who is close to Him.

2. To warn us or someone to us (Matthew 2:13

13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

to warn Joseph about Herod and to move from there with the child Jesus was all revealed in a dream.  Whenever we receive a warning we need to do accordingly immediately.

3. God speaks to us for guiding and instructing (1 Kings 3:3&5)

And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places.

In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee.

Solomon said “I’m a little child what do I do now.  The Holy Spirit told him to ask for wisdom i.e. why he was the wisest King born in this earth.  It’s not enough you have worldly wisdom.  It is necessary to have God’s wisdom to guide you step by step.

4. God speaks to have communion with man – (Gen. 3:8-10)

8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

God wanted to have communion with man so He came early in the morning (in the cool of the day) to speak to Ada.  God comes early to start our day with communion in Him.  We need to suyrrender each day into his hands.  Whatever I do in word or deed I do it in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God our Father.

1 Cor 14:!0

10 There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.

Matthew 7:20

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. If anything is contrary to the Word you will know it is not from God

Matthew 12:

A good tree will bring forth good fruit, evil tree – evil fruit.

Have faith to believe its God speaking (may not apply to your mind)

1. Unbelief  (Hebrews 3:12)

12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

Take heed to obey the Word.  Unbelief keeps us away.

2. UNDERDEVELOPED SPIRIT – Spirit which has potential to grow but lacks desire to achieve it, no motivation i.e. the Word is missing.  If this spirit does not seek it will not hear.

1st Step: Seek

2nd Step : Hear

3rd Step : Read

4th Step: Relatiionship with God

5th Step : Be among the people who always speak the Word of God.

We need to spend more time to develop our Spirit.

3. HARDENED HEART: It is a ground which cannot be plowed into no WORD = hardened heart eg. Because a person has been hurt not ready to forgive, will not listen to anyone.

Mat: 6:12

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

It is conditional – if God has to forgive our sins we need to forgive others.  It will be a block to heart God.

4. SIN – Keeps a person away – Genesis 3:10

10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

EG. Jesdus asked for this cup to be taken away from Him because he knew that for a few minutes God would turn away.

5. ANXIETY : We need to go with calmness to God.  (Isaiah 30:!5 & 18 *& 32 : 17 & 18)

15 For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not. 16 But ye said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.

17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;

In His presence we have fullness of joy, resting place.  While we wait on him he will wait for us.

Prov. 8:35

35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord.

Meaning : Blessed – empowered to prosper and excel.

Mat 16:13-18

13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Jesus asked who is he to them? Simon Barjona says “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.  Jesus said Blessed are you because you have heard my Father’s voiuce.  He waited and got the revelation.

Heb: 11:19

19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure

W eneed to have confidence.

Maintain a spirit of expectancy – if we cannot hear God

S voice we willnot be able to get out of debt.  The Holy Spirit can speak to us only when the atmosphere is peaceful.  The god who spoke to Adam, Abraham Prophets, David will speak to me.

Heb 13:8

8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Heb 4:16

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Prov 8:34, 35

34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.

Make some time for God even if you have to loose some sleep.

2. Praying in the Spirit without ceasing will keep us in continuous connection with the throne of God.

Rom 8:26-28

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

1 Thessalonians 5:17

Luke 18:1

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

Romans 8:28

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

3. Confirm what you hear with the Word and wait for peace

1 John 4:1

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Do not believe all spirits first confirm them.

1. It will line up with the written word of GOD.  i.e. WHY WE NEED TO HAVE DEVELOPED SPIRIT AND KNOW THE Word well.

2. Faith and courage to do it – be strong in faith and courageous to step out.

3. It will always go against the wisdom system of the world.

4. Check out of this is giving you peace when you think about it.  Doubt, fear, discouragement – this is Satan confirmed.

5. Seek Godly counsel Prov 4:14 run away from those of worldly wisdom

6. Boldly obey God’s instruction.  When we ask and don’t obey it becomes bad for us.  When we ask for God’s instruction be bold to carry it out.  Be like a lion.  God is a God who speaks, wait patiently at his gates day in and day out.

When we are in this continous communion with him in everything we do, we will start hearing Him in all we do, so tune ourselves to Heaven’s station and stay tuned.
